Popular Ghanaian Broadcast-Journalist, Saddick Adams, has thrown his support behind Shatta Wale following a statement he made on live television.

The African dancehall king, Shatta Wale in an interview with Metro Tv and Good Evening Ghana Presenter Paul-Adom Otchere stated that Ghana industry gatekeepers dislike him because he is always hitting potholes in Ghana music industry.

According to Shatta Wale, many deals have come his way, but industry players and gatekeepers continue to boycott him and refuse to give him a chance due to his outspokenness and drawing solutions to Ghana’s music industry’s problems.

He also mentioned of Okraku Mantey and entertainment critic Arnold Asamoah as well as how the media space is filled with some people who don’t want to put measures in place to ensure that artists receive royalties when their songs are played on television and radio.

In response to Shatta Wale’s claim, Saddick Adams added more salt to the wound stating that Shatta Wale’s statement about entertainment gatekeepers is vividly true.

According to Saddick, the industry has been accused of killing so many talents and deals because of their hatred for another when a potential partner seeks recommendations from people who despise them to the bone.

He went on to say that the industry gatekeepers will not only make you lose deals, but they will also sting you in the back and completely destroy you forever.

“Not saying the people Shatta mentioned do that, but what he said is true with a lot of industries in Ghana.

“If you’re not lucky & a potential partner asks for recommendations from the people who just hate you, they won’t only make you lose out, they’ll destroy you forever. Hmm— Saddick Adams said.
