Shatta Wale has spoken for the first time after filling Accra Sports Stadium with his Freedom Wave Concert on Sunday December 25, 2022.
Shatta Wale and Medikal sold out the Accra Sports Stadium’s 40K capacity, coined “Agenda 360” after Wizkid failed to do so at the same venue.
Footage that surfaced online shows how the venue was fully packed with a huge crowd who was excited and entertained by the African dancehall king Shatta Wale.
The “On God” crooner and his close pal, rapper Medikal received huge praise following their mouth watering and successful show.
However, in response to his sold-out show, Shatta Wale took to social media to express his gratitude to fans for their tremendous support in ensuring a successful event.
“To God be the Glory, great things he is still doing in our lives and my career as a musician. I remember telling my fans that with the Almighty God by my side, my loyal fans and my team, the 360 stadium agenda will be heavily executed and, really and truly, it was delivered perfectly.
“I want to further extend to my gratitude to the technical team, sponsors and every fan of Shatta Wale who made it a responsibility to come support the Agenda 360 last night. I am promising you nothing but the best of everything I will do in all my endeavors.
“Whatever any one lost in helping me, Medikal and colleague musicians make this historic feat, I pray you also receive many folds in return. I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Thank you once again!!! SM Empire!!!
The second edition of the Freedom Wave Concert, which has become an annual event for Shatta Wale, also included performances from Wendy Shay, S3fa, Dope Nation, VA, among other musicians.
The event was first held in 2021, and Shatta Wale became deeply involved in controversy after making a comment about Nigerians and their artists during the concert.
