Media personality, Berla Mundi has defended Stonebwoy against mockery following the reggae-dancehall artist’s Grammy nomination snub.
Berla Mundi urged the public not to mock Stonebwoy as she solicited her support for the Bhim Nation president after missing out Grammy nomination.
Despite his sincere submission, Stonebwoy, along with other Ghanaian musicians, did not receive a nomination.
In response, several rival fans taunted him on social media, prompting Berla Mundi to urge for empathy and respect of Stonebwoy’s perseverance in building his brand.

In a tweet, Berla Mundi praised Stonebwoy’s efforts encouraging people to appreciate his growth.
She emphasised the importance of supporting musicians in their global endeavours and brought attention to Nigerian artists’ unwavering fan support.
This call for unity and encouragement echoes a broader narrative in Ghana’s music industry, emphasising the difficulties musicians experience in obtaining international recognition as well as the collective responsibility to support the country’s musical talents.
