Social media has been set ablaze after the prime suspect in Wyllbee’s murder case, Nana Yaa Nyarko was granted bail by the Adum High Court.
The Adum High Court set her bail at GH₵100,000 with sureties her lawyers unsuccessful attempts to secure bail from the Akropong Circuit Court.
A second accused person in the case was also granted bail under the same terms.

The ruling was made in Nana Yaa’s absence due to concerns about her safety as a large and hostile crowd m gathered outside the courthouse and a reported case of she not being well.
Nana Yaa Nyarko is however scheduled to appear before the Akropong Circuit Court for trial on August 27, 2024.
Speaking to the media, A representative of Wyllbee’s family said;

“The family is disturbed, but there’s nothing we can do because the law has taken its course. When a person is granted bail, it doesn’t mean they are free.”
Up-and-coming musician Nana Yaw, stage-named Wyllbee, from Sowutuom, reportedly met a tragic end when he was attacked at Abuakwa-Tanoso in the Ashanti Region while allegedly staying overnight at his girlfriend’s home.
