Tragically, a Level 100 student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) named Khon Void has died in an alleged suicide linked to mental anguish over his girlfriend’s cheating.
Khon Void who was a member of GUSSS Hall One and an Art Education student was said to have taken his own life by hanging after discovering that his lover was allegedly unfaithful.
According to reports, the 19-year-old student fainted upon witnessing his partner engaging in a sɛ.xual act with another guy, a terrible experience believed to have triggered his tragic decision.
The news which was first shared by<span class="s2"> Voices of UEW</span> on Twitter (now known as X), revealed that the deceased came from a relatively wealthy family.

This has sparked debate online, with many questioning how emotional issues related to relationships could lead to such a devastating outcome, despite financial privilege.
Khon Void’s body is currently in police custody, and investigations are ongoing. The young woman involved in the alleged incident has reportedly been arrested and is assisting with authorities in the investigation.
The heartbreaking event has left the UEW Students on campus and its staff members in mourning over the loss of their cherished brother.
