The personal security guard, also known as the Aide-De-Camp (ADC) to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has collapsed in Parliament.
Colonel Isaac Amponsah suffered a medical emergency in Parliament on Friday, January 3, 2025, while the President delivered his final State of the Nation Address before Parliament.
In February 2023, Col. Isaac Amponsah replaced Major-General Bismark Onuonah, who had been reassigned to the Army Headquarters as Commandant of the Training and Doctrine Command at the Ghana Armed Forces.
He served as ADC for six years before his promotion to the rank of Major-General.
