The current state of the Ghana National Cathedral project has sparked concern among many Ghanaians after photos and videos surfaced online.
The government is reported to have spent approximately $58 million on the project, which is still in its early stages of construction.
However, the footage shows that the site is degrading, with some downpour water turning into a river, raising questions about the progress and future of the development.
In the video, the person recording can be heard expressing shock, while others lament the project’s current state.

Some Ghanaians have also questioned whether this is indeed the same cathedral project that is being planned to be built in Accra as part of the country’s 60th-anniversary celebrations.
