Vybz Kartel’s announcement comes few days after the release of his first project since returning from prison, titled “First Week Out.”
The album has garnered significant attention, as fans are eager to hear his perspective on his conviction, which is reflected in the music.

The announcement of the African tour was prompted by a question from a fan on X, who expressed concern that Kartel might have forgotten his African fans, particularly in Kenya.
The fan tweeted, “World Boss, you pranked your Kenyan fans,” expressing disappointment.
In response, Vybz Kartel assured the fan that Kenya is indeed on his list of destinations, replying with “Kenya on the list” and a hand gesture emoji.
This confirmation has sparked excitement among his African fans and generated buzz on social media.
While Vybz Kartel did not disclose the time and dates for his visit to Kenya but his announcement has thrilled fans who are eager to witness his live performances and other activities.
With this, the tour will be Vybz Kartel’s first visit to Africa, even before his conviction 13 years ago on murder charges.
