Medikal has gifted Shatta Wale $10,000 as a token of congratulations, after he won the Artiste of the Year award at the Ghana Music Awards UK last Saturday.
The reggae-dancehall musician, made the headlines with his highly coveted win, securing six awards at the event.
He won Artiste of the year, Reggae dancehall artiste of the year, Reggae dancehall song of the year, Most popular song of the year with On God, as well as Most Dominant fanbase of the year with Shatta Movement.

His performance also stirred conversation as he descended from the heavens in special cage, prompting loud cheers from the audience at the auditorium.
However, taking to social media, Shatta Wale revealed how rapper Medikal had generously gifted him $10,000 to compliment him over his big win at the GMAUK.
He also expressed his gratitude, urging fans to thank the AMG Rapper for his kindness.
In his post, Shatta Wale wrote, “So true MDK! U sent me 10K for winning Artiste of the year @amgmedikal. Anyway Thanks my G… Guys thank him for me.”
In other news, Shatta Wale asserts that the organizers of the Ghana Music Awards UK paid him around £80,000 as a performance fee.
He made this disclosure in a Twitter post, highlighting how the organizers of the Ghana Music Awards UK had offered him such a substantial amount for his participation in the event.
