Afua Asantewaa ends SIGNATHON after singing for 5 Days (126 Hours, 52 minutes)

Afua Asantewaa joyfully wrapped up her Singathon on December 29, 2023, singing for an impressive 126 hours and 52 minutes, setting a new record that surpasses Sunil Wagmore’s previous 105-hour achievement from India.

All that’s left now is for the Guinness World Record to officially declare her the new Singathon champion after her 5-days event.

Ghanaians are beaming with pride for Afua, applauding her bold achievement and recognizing the milestone she’s brought to both her career and Ghana.

In a heartwarming gesture, Sunil Waghmare traveled all the way from India to Ghana to personally congratulate Afua Asantewaa for breaking his eleven-year-old record.

His visit added a special touch to the celebration at Akwaaba Village on Friday. Cheers to Afua and her incredible singing feat!
