Minister of finance Ken Ofori-Atta presented Ghana’s Budget and Financial Statement for the 2024 fiscal year in parliament and has already made the trends on social media
Kennedy Agyapong, who is Assin Central MP has also appeared in the trends as he gave the NPP members of parliament (MPs) a showdown by refusing to shake hands with them.
A circulating video shows Agyapong expressing fury while interacting with the MPs at the Budget presentation meeting in the parliament.

The reason for his handshake refusal remains unknown, but some speculate it may be linked to his loss in the primaries against Bawumia for the flag bearer position.

In other news, Sarkodie and Wendy Shay storm the Accra High Court to challenge the Food and Drug Authority’s restriction on celebrities advertising alcoholic beverages.
The two arrived in court with other musicians such as King Promise and R2Bees for the petition hearing today over the alcoholic beverage restriction for celebrities.
