Outspoken Ghanaian reggae dancehall crooner, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has called out his fans who are requesting something unthinkable from him.
In wake of all the jubilation concerning the release of dancehall maestro, Vybz Kartel from prison, a fan of Shatta Wale requested that he should bring the world boss to a show at the Accra Sports Stadium come December 25th and Shatta Wale wasn’t pleased.
This has been something that the every ardent fan of Shatta Wale have been waiting for only their idol to meet Kartel despite their collaboration on Mansa Musa
Shatta Wale, however, did not like the post sent by the fan, who is really anxious and can not wait to see the dancehall duo play their biggest gig in Ghana.
In his reply, he emphasizes that the fan(s) should leave everything to the event organisers and promoters to do their jobs, but should not impose anything beyond his power.
“Sometimes you’re the problem you know that. Do you have investors on board before proposing this? You think this thing is a joke abi? It’s sad how some of you behave sometimes. Everything is a joke to Ghanaians.” — He replied

Meanwhile, multiple award winning Ghanaian reggae dancehall act, Stonebwoy also used the opportunity to pitch his upcoming Bhim Festival as he makes a request that the world boss should pass through.
“Adidja Azim Palmer. Road Ago Bun Up. Free at Last. Bhimfestival ?????,” he wrote.

His celebratory message was accepted, however several fans were perplexed by his decision to use Vybz Kartel’s release news to promote his Bhim Nation event, which included a performance invitation.
Vybz Kartel was set free after Jamaica’s Court of Appeal ruled against a retrial of him and his co-accused for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.
Justice Marva McDonald-Bishop, who led the three-judge panel, announced the unanimous decision yesterday.
