It is currently unknown what caused the veteran Nigerian actor’s death, and his family are yet to comment.
Papa Ajasco was best known for his role in the Wale Adenuga comedy series, which also starred Mama Ajasco, Pa James, Miss Pepeye, and Boy Alinco.
He took over as the main character after the previous one, Abiodun Ayoyinka, left the show.
The Nollywood actor had been in the Nigerian film industry for over 24 years with his Tv Series before his passing away at the age of 69.
‘Papa Ajasco’ is a comedic story about a family with a womanising father, a promiscuous mother, and a lover boy son. The story also included a man named ‘Pa James,’ who spoke without wisdom.
The movie was initiated in 1984, with Peter Fatomilola playing the first Papa Ajasco, and was formally recreated in 1996 by Wale Adenuga.
