Asamankese Catholic Priest pray with Muslims on Eid Day

Viral photos of an Asamankese Catholic priest and his members praying alongside Muslims on Eid day has warmed the hearts of netizens.

On Saturday, April 22, 2023, the Ghanaian Muslim community ended their 30-day Ramadan fasting period with prayers across the country’s stadiums and parks.

The day, which was marked mainly by prayers and other activities, gave an opportunity for the Assistant Parish Priest of the Catholic Church in Asamankese to share love with his Muslim brothers and sisters while also affirming the country’s religious tolerance.
