Shatta Wale Responds to Peller’s “Beg for Selfie” and Jarvis’ No Benz in Ghana Comments

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has responded to Nigerian TikTokers Jarvis and Peller following unsavory comments they made about him and Ghana in a recent video.

In the video, Peller claimed that Shatta Wale would beg him for a selfie if he ever visits Ghana.

He further commented on Ghana’s reputation, stating that despite hearing positive things about how Ghanaians welcome foreigners, he still hasn’t found anything impressive about the country.

“When I come to Ghana, Shatta Wale will even beg to take a selfie with me when he sees me,” Peller said in the video.

These remarks were made as Peller discussed Ghana with fellow content creator Jarvis, who is currently in the country and sharing her experiences.

As for Jarvis, she expresses disappointment with the country’s infrastructure, particularly the poor internet connectivity.

She claimed she had not seen any luxury cars, like a Mercedes Benz, GLK and other luxury cars similar to ones in Nigeria.

Jarvis best known for her Robot slams Ghana by criticizing the country’s power supply, contradicting the positive reviews she had heard about country’s standard of living.

Their comments sparked a huge reactions from fans, with many taking to social media to share their differing opinions on the duo’s observations.

Shatta Wale, however, did not take the remarks lightly by responding to the duo on Twitter, now called X.

In a playful yet assertive tone, Shatta Wale invited Jarvis to join him for a dinner and tour in his Lamborghini, suggesting that she could finally see the kind of luxury she claimed was missing.

In a series of tweets, Shatta Wale also humorously mentioned that when they hit the streets, he and the TikTokers would “throw money on fans.”

His response to Peller’s comments was particularly surprising, as Shatta Wale revealed that he would not engage in a fight with Peller.

He explained that he views Nigerian TikTokers as comedians and finds their remarks more humorous than offensive.
