Twene Jonas, a Ghanaian social media commentator who currently based in the United States, has responded to claims that he might be deported from the U.S to Ghana.
During his live-streaming session on Facebook on Thursday, November 7, 2024, Twene believes Donald Trump cannot get him arrested since he is irrelevant to him.
According to him, despite insulting the Democratic Party leader, he has been rallying his support for him prior to the election.
He bragged that with his pegree, Donaldo is no match for him, but he can send police to arrest his collegues who lack the authority to combat the incoming American president.
“Who is Trump?..if he’s man enough he should meet me one one..I am not afraid of him he cannot deport me to Ghana because he is below my standard, including his cabinets” — he said.
In explaining why Trump cannot get him jailed, Jonas states that he has not committed any crimes or engaged in any social vices that could get him in trouble.
“I have no criminal records and do not pay child support because I have not been in an intimate relationship with anyone since I relocated to the country, so no one can do anything as many presume,” he added.
His statement comes after many people, particularly Twitter users, believed that the content creator might be sent back to Ghana following Trump’s election victory.
Their claims were linked to Trump’s yet-to-be initiatve described as Massive Deportation asking to deport people without documents (green card).
The fans’ support for Trump’s deportation plan stems from Twene Jonas’ frequent critiques and harsh words directed at Ghanaian high-profile figures when addressing national issues.
He likes constant demeaning Asantehene Otumfuo, Akuffo-Addo, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and others in order to keep them on their toes and use their influence to positively affect the country.
