Sandra Ewool, a well-known social media strategist affiliated with opposition party, New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a public apology to Malik Basintale following the circulation of a forged University of Ghana degree verification letter.
The controversy erupted just hours after Sandra, who previously managed social media accounts for former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, shared an unverified letter on Facebook. The letter falsely claimed to originate from the University of Ghana, alleging that Basintale’s academic qualifications were under scrutiny.
The fake degree verification letter, allegedly addressed to the Civil Service Council and signed by the Registrar of the University of Ghana, quickly went viral across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
The now-deleted post gained traction among political circles, sparking debates about Malik Basintale’s credibility and qualifications.
