The full list of President John Dramani Mahama’s ministers and political appointees has been revealed, as he makes significant changes to simplify government operations.
On Thursday, January 9, 2025, Mahama Mahama named the complete list of ministers in Ghana which he had established, and reduced their number from 30 to 23.
The President’s decision to undertake the initiative indicates his commitment to increasing efficiency, cutting administrative costs, and assuring better governance.
The restructuring is part of a broader effort to align government priorities with national development objectives while also addressing public concerns about the cost of governance.
The list follows Mahama’s recent announcement of the designated ministries, which include John Abdulai Jinapor, Cassiel Ato Forson, Haruna Iddrisu, Eric Opoku, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Kofi Adams and Dominic Akuritinga, among others.
