The CEO of Kantanka Automobiles, Kwadwo Safo Jnr has responded to the news about his company failed to join the historic Accra to London road trip.
A group of adventurous Ghanaians completed the 16-day journey, arriving in London at 12:00pm GMT.
Before their arrival, Wanderlust Ghana, the trip’s organizers released a statement expressing their disappointment as they had hoped to include Kantanka in their initiative to promote made-in-Ghana brands.

However, the CEO declined to meet with the team, leading to public backslash for missing out on an international marketing opportunity.
However, in a tweet on August, 7, 2023, Kantanka’s CEO clarified that he had no knowledge of the trip or any attempt to involve his company.
He expressed his willingness to have been part of the journey and mentioned that he would address the issue internally.
