Sarkodie has claimed that his diss song, “Try Me,” aimed at Yvonne Nelson, was leaked to the public by an unknown person.
Speaking on ‘Way Up’ podcast hosted by American presenter Angela Yee, Sarkodie revealed that the unauthorized release of the song was carried out by someone associated with his management team.
The rapper explained that he had taken the decision to record the song independently, without seeking any advice from others regarding his choice of words.

He wanted to express himself freely and honestly without any external influence. However, to his surprise, the song made its way into the internet without his knowledge or consent.
Sarkodie admitted to having suspicions about two people within his team who might be responsible for the leakage of the song and he’s not proud about it.

The controversial ‘Try Me’ song was a direct response to Yvonne Nelson following her revelations in her memoir, “I am not Yvonne Nelson,” where she discussed issues relating to pregnancy and abortion.
