The internet has been sent agog after seasoned Jamaican dancehall veteran, Vybz Kartel was released from prison after spending close to 13 years in incarceration over a murder charge.
“The World Boss” as affectionately called, Vybz Kartel is a revered figure in the Ghanaian reggae dancehall space and his release and already sparked a debate among the two biggest dancehall artistes in Africa.
Upon the release of Vybz Kartel, celebrated Ghanaian music star, Shatta Wale took to his various social media handles to congratulate and celebrate him as he has been his mentor for ages and which even birth their collaboration dubbed ‘Mansa Musa’.

Stonebwoy, the Bhim Nation president on the other hand also sent his congratulatory messages to Vybz Kartel via his X account and even went on to pitch his Bhim Festival to him hoping the now free boss will pass through.
However, Vybz Kartel has responded to Shatta Wale’s post on Instagram and fans are already talking about it as it seems he does not recognize Stonebwoy.
In his reply to Shatta Wale, he wrote;

And Shatta Wale also replied back saying;
“anything for you big bro“
Shatta Wale has however chastised his fans for requesting that he should bring Vybz Kartel to Ghana citing reasons that hit takes more money to pull such an act and for the time being, there are no investors on board.
